Third trip to DC. From October 3 to 9. Three appointments were scheduled, but due to the shutdown, only two meetings took place: with Cal Anderson, Legislative Aide to U.S. Senator for Missouri Josh Hawley, and with David Brown, Director of Operations/Scheduler for the Office of Congressman Eric Burlison (MO-07). The meeting with Tina Mufford, Acting Deputy Director to the Ambassador at Large at the U.S. Department of State, was canceled.
